The 2022 Sierra Heavy Duty pickup truck offers up to 36,000 lbs. of max towing. It's built strong so you can tow strong. Its large drive shaft and rear axle will give you increased durability and strength. And its improved brakes and steering offer superior control.
Requires Sierra 3500 HD Regular Cab Long Bed 2WD DRW with available Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8, Max Trailering Package and gooseneck hitch. Before you buy a vehicle or use it for trailering, carefully review the Trailering section of the Owner's Manual. The weight of passengers, cargo and options or accessories may reduce the amount you can tow.

Twin-Tube Rancho shocks provide dampening when going off road; skid plates provide added protection for underbody components and Eaton® locking rear differential helps give you traction to handle rugged terrain.

The strong chassis and suspension are built upon a fully boxed, ladder-type frame built from high-strength steel using front hydroformed rails with clamshell design to provide more stability while towing and off-roading.

GMC MULTIPRO TAILGATE
The available GMC MultiPro Tailgate offers six distinct functions designed to help improve loading, unloading and accessing the cargo box. Available on Sierra HD Pro. Standard on Sierra HD SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali.
PRIMARY GATE
Open the primary gate using the key fob's power release from inside the truck or from the button on the gate. These same buttons can be used to lock the gate once closed.
PRIMARY GATE LOAD STOP
With the primary gate open, the load stop can help prevent items from sliding out of the bed.
EASY ACCESS
The inner gate folds down for easy access when loading and unloading the bed.
FULL-WIDTH STEP
After removing the conventional hitch, the inner gate folds into a large step for easy entry and exit from the bed (step holds up to 375 lbs).
INNER GATE LOAD STOP
The inner gate also includes a load stop to help prevent second-tier items from sliding out of the bed. The inner gate can be disabled to prevent it from being opened when a hitch or other equipment is installed.
INNER GATE WITH WORK SURFACE
The opened inner gate provides a work surface as well as second-tier loading.

AVAILABLE LANE DEPARTURE WARNING AND FORWARD COLLISION ALERT
Lane Departure Warning can alert you if you might be unintentionally drifting our of detected lane lines so you can quickly take action. It will not alert you if you're using your turn signal or it detects you may be intentionally leaving your lane. Forward Collision Alert can warn you if it detects a potential front-end collision with a vehicle you're following so you can quickly take action. It can also provide a tailgating alert if you're followinga vehicle much too closely.
